Le chocolate fair is back for its 11th edition. It will take place from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 November 2021 at the Vannes exhibition centre. A event in Vannes not to be missed! This year's theme is "The magic of Christmas".
Chocolate fans won't be disappointed, with 90 exhibitors from all over France offering their chocolate creations, pastries, ice creams, confectionery and a whole host of other delicacies. Enough to make you fall in love...
It was a moment rich in emotion with the presence of a guest of honour: Mercotte, the host of "Le Meilleur Pâtissier" on M6, but not only! The show's president, Jean-Christophe Jeanson, also invited Guy Krenzer, Johan Martin and others to take part. world-famous pastry chefChristelle Brua, the Élysée Palace's first head pastry chef, who was crowned world champion in her category in 2018, and the best workers in Franceworld champions and master craftsmen. So many celebrities in Morbihan!
Dive into the heart of the events
Many activities in Vannes will be on hand to bring this chocolate and pastry fair to life.
For fans of Mercotte, signing sessions will be organised. It's a great opportunity to meet the guest of honour and take home some fond memories.
Chocolate carving demonstrations will be given by artist Gildas Darcillon.
What's more, the election of the most beautiful chocolate piece will be open to the general public.
In honour of their 'Magic of Christmas' theme, a Santa's arrival will take place on Thursday 11 November.
Enjoy spectacular activities
Over the course of the three-day show, a number of parades of chocolate dresses with a Christmas theme. These parades will take place three times a day and will last 30 minutes.
It's a chance to take part in an extraordinary fashion show and admire the work of famous chocolatiers.
Take part in the best-known competitions
Le chocolate and pastry fair is also an opportunity to take part in international and national competitions. For example, the International Finals for the Best Amateur Macaroon will be held in Paris. Alain Chartier known in Brittany and specifically in Morbihan thanks to its 7 shops in Vannes, Theix, Lorient, Carnac and Arzon. The competition for the best chocolate log, the Trophée l'Elite Bruno Le Derfand many others. A great competition between professionals will then come into effect.
Tickets will cost €6 on the door and €5 on the online ticketing service. Children under 12 are free.
