The first edition took place in 2001 and the event continues to attract more and more people every two years. In order to showcase the cultural and nautical riches of the Morbihan GulfThe Department of Morbihan came up with the original idea of creating this event based on the sailing world.
Don't miss the opening parade on Monday 15 May, when all the boats present will join the Tall ships flotilla off Méaban. There's plenty to keep young and old busy during the week, including tastings of local produce and seafood, fest-noz (a night party), model-building, local music and shows... Many French and foreign yachts come together to sail in this very special environment of the 'Little Sea' (Mor Bihan in Breton). traditional boats and classic boats divided into coherent and identifiable flotillas, which sail. Each day, each flotilla follows its own sailing programme, calling in at a different port each evening. Vannes is one of the 17 member ports.
